New footage shows the extent of the destruction after a bach collapsed on the Āwhitu Peninsula, injuring three people.
Emergency services rushed to the bach at Orua Bay on Wednesday afternoon after the bach crashed down the bank.
An elderly woman was freed after being trapped inside the bach. It's understood a builder working at a property next door could see the collapse about to happen and yelled out to the occupants to try and warn them, but they did not hear. Two people were taken to Middlemore Hospital.
Footage from the scene of the collapse shows the mangled bach sitting metres down the bank on the beach. A large slip, which is several metres long, stretches up the bank behind it.
