A person has been rushed to hospital after they were found with moderate injuries on Sunday morning.
Police said they were called to a property on Ata Road in Karaka at 1:22am.
"One person was located with non-life threatening injuries and one person was taken into custody," police said.
Hato Hone St John told Newshub they responded with an ambulance and a rapid response unit.
"We assessed and treated one patient who was transported to Middlemore hospital in a moderate condition," Hato Hone St John said.
