Waitematā police make public appeal for missing 19-year-old Jayden Mamfredos

Waitematā police have "serious concerns" for missing 19-year-old Jayden Mamfredos, who hasn't been seen almost for two weeks.

Waitematā police are appealing to the public to help locate Mamfredos, who was reported missing from the Auckland suburb of Massey on Monday, April 24. 

Waitematā Detective Senior Sergeant Megan Goldie said his family and friends have not seen or heard from him since Mamfredos' disappearance. 

Mamfredos was last seen on Friday, April 21. Despite extensive enquiries by police to locate the 19-year-old, their efforts have been unsuccessful so far.

"Police have serious concerns for his welfare and want to make sure he is safe, and ask anyone who has seen him to contact police immediately."

The 19-year-old was last seen wearing a black and white jacket, navy blue pants, grey running shoes and a black hat.

Police are urging anyone who sights Mamfredos to contact police on 111.
