Increased police presence in Onehunga, Auckland after reports house shot up

Police are patrolling an Auckland street after reports a house was shot at on Monday evening. 

Armed police were called to Roosevelt Ave in the suburb of Onehunga at about 6.52pm following reports of a shooting. 

Footage from the scene shows police cordoning off parts of the street on Monday, with officers searching inside and outside the property.

Police told Newshub they cleared the property and there were no injuries.

Police remain at the property on Tuesday morning undergoing a scene examination and area canvas.

"People in the area can expect to see an increased Police presence while this takes place," a police spokesperson said.
