Christchurch police will hold a press conference for the first time since the disappearance of real estate agent Yanfei Bao.
In a Facebook post, Bao's husband said her disappearance is "out of character" and her whānau are "deeply concerned for the safety and well-being of my wife".
The "dedicated" real estate consultant had planned to engage with the local community through door-to-door outreach to promote her work at the time she was last seen.
Detective Inspector Nicola Reeves spoke to media on Friday.
