A man has been arrested and is facing a number of charges after allegedly driving in a dangerous manner and fleeing from police.
Concerns were raised when a member of the public reported a vehicle driving dangerously in Christchurch on Sunday morning.
A police spokesperson said officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver fled.
He eventually stopped on Linwood Ave in Christchurch at around 9am on Sunday morning.
A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with failing to stop for police, driving in a dangerous manner and resisting police.
