Police are searching for four armed robbers who smashed their way into an Auckland sports bar overnight.
A police spokesperson told Newshub officers are investigating an armed robbery at Mount Albert Sports Bar on New North Road.
Four masked offenders, armed with a gun, stormed the sports bar shortly after midnight.
A staff member inside the bar was "uninjured but understandably shaken" by the robbery and is being supported by police.
Video taken by Newshub shows shattered glass covering the entrance way, which was cordoned off, and detectives could be seen inside talking to staff while an armed officer stood outside.
The spokesperson said the offenders are still on the run and they're following "positive lines of enquiry".
