A man is in a critical condition after an incident at a home in Invercargill on Sunday.
Police said they were called to a private property on Dunns Road at around 7am after reports a man had been stabbed.
He was flown to Dunedin Hospital where he is in a critical condition.
A 23-year-old woman has been taken into custody and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A scene guard will remain at the property until at least Monday.
