A person has been killed and six others injured on Friday in a crash involving two vehicles on State Highway 1 in Marlborough, police say.
Two of the injured people were airlifted to Wellington Hospital.
The crash happened just after 1:30pm on Friday on SH1 at Kekerengu, about 60km north of Kaikōura.
Police said the cause of the crash was under investigation.
