A paraglider has been seriously injured in an accident near the Port Hills in Christchurch.
St John said it sent an ambulance and rapid response team to the accident on Port Hills Road, Heathcote Valley just after 10am on Monday.
One patient was assessed at the scene and transported to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
