Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters are marching to the United States Consulate in Auckland.

The march, organised by Palestine Solidarity Network Aotearoa, started at Auckland's Aotea Square on Sunday and is calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. A flier circulated on social media said "stop the genocide".

The protesters can be heard chanting the pro-Palestine slogan "from the river to the sea". The rallying cry calls for a unified Palestine state, stretching from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea.

The march is one of many protests that have occurred in New Zealand since the Hamas-Israel war broke out just over 100 days ago.
