Police will be keeping an eye on gang members travelling through Porirua for a funeral on Thursday morning.
Kāpiti-Mana Relieving Area Commander Simon de Wit said the funeral is planned for about 8am tomorrow at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
"Motorists can expect to see a large number of gang members and associates travelling around the region."
Police will be visibly present around the cemetery and surrounding areas, de Wit added.
"We urge all those travelling on our roads to not act in a way that puts other road users at risk and to expect delays."
