Ashburton College has made the decision not to open on Monday after staff received another serious phone threat.
It comes just days after a man was arrested and charged for making a hoax bomb threat against the school which led to it being evacuated.
The school said police are taking the latest incident "very seriously" and have advised the principal to close the school on Monday.
It is unclear if this most recent threat is related to the one made last week.
