A person is in hospital after being assaulted at a free concert in Auckland on Waitangi Day.
The assault happened at west Auckland's Parrs Park, where the free concert Waitangi@Waititi was taking place. Officers are trying to locate those involved.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 3:20pm.
"One person has moderate injuries and was transported to hospital," a police spokesperson said.
Acts including Katchafire, Kora, The Blackseeds, Tiki Tanne and Midnight Oil's Peter Garrett all performed at the concert, along with crowd favorites Savage and Aaradhna.
It's believed more than 50,000 people attended.
