Two people have been injured in Hamilton on Tuesday evening in a "disorder event" where police say a gun has been fired.
The ordeal started at around 7:10pm when officers were called to the "disorder event" on Norrie Street in the Hamilton suburb of Bader.
A police spokesperson confirmed two people were transported to hospital - one in a serious condition and another in a moderate condition.
Initial reports indicated a gun had been shot in the area and an investigation is underway to determine what had happened, the spokesperson confirmed.
