A motorcyclist has died in hospital overnight following a crash near Matamata in Waikato on Saturday.
The crash, on Piakonui Rd in Richmond Downs, involved a motorcycle and a tractor. It was reported to police at around 10:40am.
The motorcyclist was critically injured in the crash and airlifted to hospital, where they died overnight.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
The crash brings the Easter holiday road toll to five.
