An Auckland highway is closed after a cyclist was critically injured in a crash involving a truck on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on the Dairy Flat Highway just before 11:30am.
Police said the cyclist was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
"Dairy Flat Highway is closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area," a police statement said.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
