Police have responded to a burglary at a shipping container yard in South Auckland.
Officers attended the address on Wiri Station Road, Wiri, shortly after 6 this morning.
Two men were taken into custody, with charges being considered.
Earlier, Newshub had been told about members of the armed offenders squad (AOS) also at the facility in Wiri.
A police spokesperson confirmed members of AOS had been in the area, executing an "unrelated, pre-planned" search warrant.
"As they were nearby, they assisted with initial cordons being put in place while the pair were taken into custody."
