There are widespread cancellations and delays across all Auckland train lines on Thursday morning due to a "track infrastructure issue".
Auckland Transport warned the issue is affecting all train lines in the city and said busses are accepting train tickets.
"All Western Line services are cancelled between Britomart and Newmarket, due to the rack infrastructure issue at Britomart," Auckland Transport said on X, formerly Twitter.
"Platforms 2 & 3 at Britomart are out of order until further notice. Expect delays and possible cancellations."
Onehunga Line services are also cancelled until further notice.
It's the latest in a string of issues for the city's train network. Over the summer overheating tracks saw multiple disruptions. In February, commuters complained over chronic delays and cancellations during a two-week period.
Several passengers ranted on social media at the time about disruptions on the Western Line, and issues with the other three metro lines (Ōnehunga, Southern, Eastern).
Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown also took issue with the disruptions and hit out at transport bosses.
Mayor Brown sent a stern letter to the bosses of the three organisations involved in the city's train network.
Brown wrote to Dean Kimpton of AT, Peter Reidy of KiwiRail and Martin Kearney of Auckland One Rail about the train issues.
"The frequent disruptions on the Auckland train network have become unacceptable," the letter began.
Communications between the three agencies was "muddled", Wayne added.
"I'm asking you three to meet with me to explain how these disruptions keep happening, and what is being done to both fix it and quickly restore public confidence."
