Jonelle Price

Age: 40

Event: Individual & team eventing

Born: October 14, 1980

Previous Olympics: 2012 (bronze), 2016

With the retirements of Mark Todd, Blyth Tait and Andrew Nicholson - stalwarts of an NZ equestrian dynasty - Jonelle Price and husband Tim spearhead our chances in equestrian eventing.

Jonelle won Olympic bronze at London 2012 in a team that also featured Todd, Nicholson, Jonathan Paget and Caroline Powell, and fell just short of the team podium four years later at Rio.

Since then, she has established herself as one of the finest riders in the world, with 2018 victories at Badminton and Luhmuhlen - two of the sport's most prestigious events, as well as third placings at Burghley (2016) and Kentucky (2021).

Currently ranked seventh in the world, she will team with husband Tim and Jesse Campbell at Tokyo.
