Tokyo Olympics in Pictures, August 5: Kiwis in action across canoe sprint, track cycling, athletics, golf and karate

It was a day of history for New Zealand at the Olympic Games and a day full of medals.

Four medals in total, with canoe sprint supertstar Lisa Carrington earning her third gold of these Games to become the most decorated Olympian in New Zealand history.

Elsewhere, Tom Walsh won bronze in the shot put and it was a great night for our track cycling team with two silver medals.
