Since Alan Hall was convicted of the 1985 murder of Arthur Easton, there have been doubts about whether police got the right man.

But the police always had a case against Alan - a bayonet that he admitted owning, a hat that he had borrowed from his brother Greg, and no alibi for where he was at the time Arthur was murdered on the night of October 13.
