Former Conservative Party leader Colin Craig is talking up his chances of becoming Mayor of Auckland.
Mr Craig was thrown out as party leader earlier this year amid claims he'd acted inappropriately towards his former secretary.
He ran for Mayor back in 2010 and came third, but thinks he'd do better this time around.
"You had two very big names in the race," says Mr Craig. "I think what's important is the issue for Aucklanders about making it a more affordable city to live in."
Mr Craig also wants to get his old job back as leader of the Conservatives.
