Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been caught joking about climate change, just hours after returning from a meeting with Pacific leaders in Port Moresby who see it as a life or death issue.
The video shows Australian Immigration Minister Peter Dutton with Mr Abbott at a Parliamentary photo opportunity joking about events at the Pacific Islands Forum running late.
Mr Dutton says: "Time doesn't mean anything when you're about to be, you know, have water lapping at your door".
Mr Abbott laughs, but not before Social Services Minister Scott Morrison says "there's a boom [microphone] up there" and all three stare awkwardly into the distance.
Both Mr Abbott and Prime Minister John Key were criticised at this week's forum for not doing enough to combat climate change.
