Prime Minister John Key is expected to announce the Government's position on the refugee quota at his post-Cabinet news conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The Government has been considering what to do with the current refugee quota, which has been at 750 for 29 years. The review of the intake will cover the next three years.
Mr Key has also just returned from Fiji where he met with his counterpart Frank Bainimarama, in what was the first visit by a New Zealand Prime Minister for a decade.
Newshub will be livestreaming the news conference, set to start around 1:30pm.
