Former Prime Minister John Key left Parliament for the last time on Wednesday.
Love him or hate him, he ruled New Zealand for eight years; overseeing the Christchurch earthquake response, the global financial crisis - and an attempted flag change.
But where does he rank among our former PMs?
Three's The Project drew up a list, and guest Bill Ralston ranks Mr Key at number five.
Controversially, he put Mr Key above former Prime Minister David Lange, whose "government fell apart".
"Number five, it's not a medal but it's still good," commented The Project host Kanoa Lloyd. "See you John Key."
The Project's rankings were:
- Richard Seddon
- Michael Savage
- Helen Clark
- Keith Holyoake
- John Key
