Bill English squeezes in a haircut minutes after US Secretary of State departs

  • 07/06/2017

Not one to waste a moment, Prime Minister Bill English was in the barber's chair before US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had even made it to the airport on Tuesday.

Mr Tillerson had barely left Premier House and Mr English was in a Thorndon salon getting a haircut.

Mr English visits Groom Barber & Stylist on Tinakori Rd, which has a "no appointment necessary" policy.

Finding time to squeeze in a haircut is tough for a Prime Minister without being accused of getting groomed on the taxpayer's dollar.

Newshub understands former Prime Minister John Key used to fit in a trim before his Monday morning media appearances.
