Pictures of the moment Jacinda Ardern realised she was going to be Prime Minister have emerged today.
Clarke Gayford has tweeted pictures of Ardern from the moment when Winston Peters announced his decision to form a new Government with Labour.
The first photo shows a nervous Jacinda Ardern with her hands to her face.
The second, a clearly excited Ardern looking much more relaxed.
It was one year ago today that Mr Peters made the announcement.
Mr Gayford said in the tweet that Mr Peters had "made a bold call that changed EVERYTHING".
He said the pictures are a before and after that has never been seen.
