Christchurch terror attack: Jacinda Ardern preparing for gun law changes

Newshub political editor Tova O'Brien says Jacinda Ardern has had policy officials working "round the clock" to prepare plans for proposed gun law changes.

The Prime Minister is due to take these to Cabinet on Monday, and we will learn more when she holds her post-Cabinet press conference at 4pm.

Top security agency officials will be called in to discuss why they failed to pick up the alleged gunman in the lead-up to the attack.

O'Brien says questions will also be raised why Australian intelligence agencies didn't have the alleged gunman on any watchlists.
