The New Zealand economy is in "good shape" after the Finance Minister announced a surplus of $7.5 billion.

It's the highest since 2008 - the year of the Global Financial Crisis - and is some $4 billion ahead of the forecast in Budget 2019.

So what should the Government spent the extra money on?
