Health Minister David Clark is making an announcement alongside Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield on funerals and tangihanga.
It follows backlash from families against the Government's COVID-19 alert level 2 rules because they do not allow gatherings of more than 10 people - even at funerals and tangihanga
The alert level 2 rules come into effect on Thursday.
