Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is set to confirm if Auckland will shift COVID-19 alert levels at her post-Cabinet press conference.
Auckland is currently at alert level 2 after community cases of COVID-19 were discovered on February 14. Auckland went into a three-day alert level 3 lockdown, and was shifted down to level 2 last Wednesday.
A handful of community cases have been discovered over the past week, but they are all connected to the original cluster, easing anxieties of a widespread outbreak.
The Prime Minister's post-Cabinet press conference is happening in Christchurch where she is paying respects on the 10th anniversary of the 2011 earthquake.
