The Corrections Minister will speak to media on Monday afternoon, less than two hours after announcing an overhaul and review of New Zealand's women's prisons.
Kelvin Davis is scheduled to front a press conference at 5pm.
It comes after he wrote to Corrections chief executive Jeremy Lightfoot demanding an urgent overhaul of the maximum security classification and development of management plans for women, and a review of all women's prisons.
