Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Agriculture Minister Damien O'Connor and Acting Emergency Management Minister Kris Faafoi have held at Christchurch Airport after assessing flood damage in the Canterbury area.
Ardern was in Ashburton on Tuesday morning evaluating the battered region.
