Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is holding her weekly post-Cabinet press conference at the Beehive where she will give an update on COVID-19 alert levels.
All of New Zealand south of Auckland will shift to alert level 3 at midnight on Tuesday. The Prime Minister said on Friday Auckland and Northland will remain at alert level 4 for at least another week.
She said Auckland will likely remain at alert level 4 for another two weeks. The question is, will Northland remain at alert level 4, or will Auckland go it alone?
