Finance Minister Grant Robertson is appearing before Parliament's Finance and Expenditure Committee for a discussion about the Government's economic response to the most recent COVID-19 Delta outbreak.

This discussion will likely focus on how the Government will support businesses through the latest period of higher alert levels, and the implications of the higher alert levels for the wider economy.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern suspended Parliament for the week on the advice of Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield. Select committees will continue to be held virtually to maintain scrutiny of the Government.

The Prime Minister has asked that Opposition MPs get more opportunities to ask questions.
