COVID-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins is joined by Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield to provide an update on the vaccine rollout and Delta outbreak.
The Ministry of Health registered just eight new community cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, all in Auckland, after 12 were reported on Monday, 18 on Sunday and 16 on Saturday.
So far, more than 5 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine have been administered in New Zealand, 1.8 million of which were second doses.
