The Ministry of Health registered 20 new community Delta cases on Saturday, up from 11 on Friday.
An in-principle decision has been made by the Government to shift Auckland to alert level 3 next week, depending on the state of the outbreak on Monday when Cabinet meets to review COVID-19 restrictions.
