COVID-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins is joined by Director of Public Health Dr Caroline McElnay to provide an update on the vaccine rollout and the Delta outbreak.
More than 2 million people have now received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine so far, representing 48 percent of people aged 12 and over. In Auckland, 85 percent have received one dose.
The Ministry of Health registered 24 new cases of COVID-19 in the community on Tuesday, six in Waikato and the rest in Auckland, after reporting 29 on Monday and 33 on Sunday.
