Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is joined by Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield to provide a post-Cabinet alert level update.
Ardern announced last week that Northland and parts of Waikato would stay at alert level 3 for another week, with Cabinet to review those settings on Monday.
All of Northland is currently at alert level 3, as well as parts of Waikato, including: Hamilton, Waipa, Ōtorohanga, Raglan, Te Kauwhata, Huntly, Ngāruawāhia, and Waitomo including Te Kuiti.
Ardern said Auckland would remain at alert level 3 for another week and Cabinet would review that position on Monday.
