Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is joined by Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield to unveil the Government's "roadmap" to phase Auckland out of lockdown.
Auckland has been in lockdown for more than a month but cases of the Delta variant of COVID-19 continue to emerge in the community, with 29 registered by the Ministry of Health on Monday.
But Ardern told The AM Show she understands how "tough" lockdown has been for Aucklanders, and the Government is outlining how restrictions can be lifted safely over time as vaccinations ramp up.
