Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson is joined by Director of Public Health Dr Caroline McElnay to provide an update on the COVID-19 Delta outbreak.
Robertson and Dr McElnay will address the Ministry of Health's news on Thursday night that six COVID-19 cases had been detected in Taranaki's Stratford.
The Ministry of Health registered 161 cases of COVID-19 in the community on Thursday, 152 in Auckland, 25 in Waikato and eight in Northland.
Ministry of Health data shows 90 percent of the eligible population has had at least one dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
