Gerry Brownlee on whether NZ is doing enough to respond to Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine

From bodies strewn over the streets of Bucha, to the missile attack on a railway station filled with fleeing civilians, horrifying images have emerged from Ukraine this week.  

Russian forces which have surrounded the capital of Kyiv since early on in their offensive have pulled back and moved eastwards. Their departure meant journalists and officials could enter the once-occupied areas, where they discovered atrocities some world leaders have called war crimes.

So is New Zealand doing enough to respond to Russia's brutality? It's expanded its sanctions portfolio, contributed humanitarian aid, and donated thousands of pieces of non-lethal equipment.

National's foreign affairs spokesperson - and former Foreign Affairs Minister - Gerry Brownlee spoke to Newshub Nation.
