Public Health Director Caroline McElnay joins Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield to provide a COVID-19 Omicron update at the Ministry of Health in Wellington.
Both Dr McElnay and Dr Bloomfield have announced plans to step down ahead of the Government's health restructure and after two years of leading New Zealand through the coronavirus pandemic.
It is Dr McElnay's final appearance before she departs the role.
