Representatives from police, the Ministry of Justice and Oranga Tamariki will face politicians at 9am to discuss trends in youth crime.
While the latest data shows youth crime is tracking down nationally, it's been in the headlines lately with the spike in ram raids.
According to documents obtained by Newshub in July, ram raids were up 518 percent in the first six months of the year compared to the first six months of 2018. A report found 76 percent were committed by youths under 17 years old and 17 percent were under 13 years old.
