PM Jacinda Ardern reveals who is on her naughty and nice list for 2022

The Prime Minister revealed who is on her nice list this year, but wouldn't say who made her naughty list.

Jacinda Ardern joined AM on Monday for her final appearance before the Christmas break, and she was asked who was on her list for 2022.

But while she was more than happy to reveal the Black Ferns team was on her nice list, she was more hesitant to reveal who was on her naughty list.

"I am going to be a complete cop-out I think and I am just going to go with the nice list because there will be no winning with anyone that I put on a naughty list. So I am just going to put the entirety of the Black Ferns on the nice list," Ardern said.

AM co-host Ryan Bridge then jumped in jokingly telling the Prime Minister, "feel free to put me on that naughty list."

But Ardern joked back saying, "As I say there's no winning, there would be a whole article about it, slating journalists… there's no winning."

Earlier in the show AM co-host Melissa Chan-Green revealed her naughty list included Trevor Mallard for his response to the Parliament protests and her nice list included Black Ferns star Ruby Tui.

"On my nice list though I would put Ruby Tui because of what she's done for women's sport but also she gave her [World Cup] medal to a young leukemia survivor and she's been an amazing role model," Chan-Green said.

Meanwhile, Bridge revealed Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was on his nice list.

"I would go with Volodymyr Zelenskyy because can you believe what he has achieved for his country in such a short space of time?

"Undoubtedly they are still at the mercy of [Vladimir] Putin and his horrific bombing of their country but he is a guy who was an actor, a comedian then became president and was kind of laughed off and rubbished by his opponents… and he seems to have really captured the spirit of the country. That fighting scrappy spirit of the country."

But Bridge said he still wasn't sure of who he would put on his naughty list.

"I mean obviously you would put Putin on the naughty list but I think that's a bit fickle so I will think of someone else."
