Stats NZ is on the hunt for 3000 Census collectors across Aotearoa - and the job is paying $30 an hour.
The statistics agency said there's been a "great response" to their calls for Census collectors so far but added more willing Kiwis are needed to ensure "everyone is counted and represented".
"We are making it easier for people to take part in next year's Census and that includes having more… collectors on the ground providing support for people to complete their forms," Deputy Government statistician Simon Mason said.
Mason said in a statement the job is perfect for those who are looking for some extra money after the summer holidays.
"[If] you know your community, and want to help, this could be the perfect short-term job for you."
Mason said paid training is provided and, once the job is done, a completion payment will be made.
Census data is used by communities, Iwi, businesses, local Government and central Government to plan and fund services Kiwis use.
"The census is our most valuable source of information about the people and life of Aotearoa New Zealand."
