Newshub understands Speaker Adrian Rurawhe is about to make a further ruling on Meka Whaitiri.
It comes after a debate on Wednesday over Whaitiri's position in the Parliament and whether in the process of defecting from Labour to Te Pāti Māori she had triggered the waka-jumping legislation.
