National MP Paul Goldsmith says the party will reveal how it will pay for its tax cuts plan "all in good time".
Labour announced its tax policy earlier this month, promising voters it would scrap GST from fresh fruit and vegetables if they vote red.
The incumbent Government has also repeatedly attacked National's plans to adjust tax brackets to inflation, claiming they'd benefit the rich more.
National leader Christopher Luxon last month said the fully-costed plan would be unveiled well ahead of the pre-election fiscal update, which is released four weeks before New Zealanders head to the polls.
Goldsmith reiterated that on Friday.
"All in good time… very soon," he told AM host Ryan Bridge when asked if National had set a policy release date.
Goldsmith couldn't specify that date, however.
"I can't tell you but I'll tell you one thing that people do want tax relief," he said. "So we need some of that."
