Election 2023: Labour, National MPs take time off campaign to watch All Blacks play France in RWC

Labour and National MPs have taken time out from their hectic election campaigns to support the All Blacks playing against Les Bleus on Saturday morning (NZ time) in the Rugby World Cup.

France were too good for Aotearoa, thumping the All Blacks 27-13 in the first match of the pool stage at Stade de France in Paris.

National MPs Christopher Luxon and Simeon Brown were in Botany, Tāmaki Makaurau to watch the match.

"Well we're off to a flying start, and I can tell you the All Blacks are pumped and ready to go aren't they," Luxon told Newshub.

"I reckon the All Blacks will win by 13 points."
